You are now meeting a dealership that offers
all Justin Boots available. Cultured Cowboy
has held a long term relationship with Justin,
Nocona and Tony Lama Divisions of Justin Industries.
If you are
familiar with Justin Brands, you understand the
value that handcrafted boots can provide. If Justin
exotic boots are new to you, you have to try them to understand
how truly great they feel. The boots are cut
generously in size. They allow comfortable room for
your arches. Until they break-in, they will slip on
your heels.
People that wear Western dress
boots do not always wear them to look like cowboys. The
arch support and quality craftsmanship allow us to
go all day without sore feet and aching backs or
legs. You see a lot of national ads in magazines
with young adults wearing their Justin Boots and
shorts. (I've been doing this for over 35 years.
Guess I have been ahead of the fashion scene! OK,
admit it. You probably wear your shorts, Justin's and
trophy buckle without a shirt too, don't
you?)
Why choose an Exotic
Western Boot? I bought my first pair because I had
one of the largest Western stores in SC, (not so
hard to do in about 1985!), and I was about to go to
the Denver Western Market. I figured I would
be out of place if I didn't have a pair of Ostrich
boots. (You know how it is to be new, at a strange
place, and to want to fit in.) (Seems that the Nocona
Boot sales rep had some influence on this too. - I
chose a Justin Cowboy Boot though.)
There are places that
you go, where other people do notice what you wear.
(While the pictures are loading, I'll tell you
another of my many tales.) I had a good acquaintance
of mine, from our high school days, drop by the
store. A really nice and popular guy. At the time,
he sold medical machinery, (cat-scans, X-ray
machines, etc.,) to hospitals and such. He liked his
job. If he could sell just 1 machine a year, he
could keep his job. If he sold 2, he made a fair
living. If he sold 4 or more, he was really doing
OK. Now, this man was athletic. He was sometimes
overpowering to average men, especially in his 3
piece suit. So we needed a way to soften his look;
yet, still portray a certain image of success.
Hospital administrators are people just like you and
I. They want to deal with a guy who is successful
and knowledgeable at what they do. But, they don't
want to feel intimidated into making a decision that
is important. They need to "feel" that
their decision was best, based on stats, although
emotions do play a huge role. When a really
good-looking, muscular guy comes in your
office, you respect him. But sales were being
postponed. So my advice was to go see the next
prospects with a 2 piece suit that had a Western yoke. Navy
blue, but Western cut. (It softened that hard sell
image just enough.) After you intro, ask if you
can take off the tie. Explain your background, and
tell them that you're here to see if there is
anything you can offer that might help their
program. Wear a pair of Alligator boots. The boots
will come up in conversation. They attract
attention. (Why else do you see so many of them on
the "Late Night Show"?) They portray
success. They state that you are your own person.
They are not as "stuck-up", not as
copy-cat, not as "oh no, another sales
rep", as a wing-tip oxford. They will help
relax your prospect. ...It worked for him. It has
worked for countless others.
Exotic boots are a
tool. They make a statement. Not everybody can
afford them. Not everybody has guts enough to wear
them. Comfort combines with class. And class always
works. Within 6 months, the sales professional was
back for another color alligator boot.
Now, you probably
don't wear an expensive boot every day. So, make a
nice place on a mantle, or in a corner of an office,
to display your boots, as home decor, when you aren't
wearing them. Famous people do this all the time.
And, keeping exotic footwear in a closed, damp
closet is never a good idea.
The question is, can
you afford not to have a few pair of Justin Exotic
Boots? JUst depends on your attitude!`
Please call for more
information on any Justin exotic boot, (even if it is not
shown), that you may be interested in. We will be
glad to assist your decisions. God
