Justin
Roper Boots
Justin Ropers
This might be the only boot style
named due to a rodeo event. (Actually, from the
ropers in the calf roping events.) The low heel of a
Wellington boot made it easier for calf ropers to
jump off their horse without twisting an ankle, while running down their
rope to a calf that wants to get away. Rumor has it
that George Strait might have been one of the first
generation of ropers to use "ropers"
rather than their higher heeled traditional western
boots. Roper boots have been popular for dancing,
and for rodeo boots for at least 25 years. The
relatively low basic price also helped! And a Justin
Brand roper boot has been the boot preferred.
Today, there are performance
soles for the timed events, work soles for outdoor
surfaces, and leather soles for inside work, or
dancehalls. Choose from exotic roper boots, or basic
cowhides. Prices range from cheap to affordable. The
more you invest in your boots, the more you allow
for the bootmaker to invest in time and parts to
make you the best possible Western
boots.
People that wear Western dress
boots do not always wear them to look like cowboys. The
arch support and quality craftsmanship allow us to
go all day without sore feet and aching backs or
legs. Consider this quality for your wife and
children too. Especially during the growing years, the
bones of the feet will form only as well as you
allow. Proper care when young will pay tremendous
dividends in all the years to come.
Now, you have found a dealership that offers
all Justin Boots
available. If you are familiar with Justin
Brands, you understand the value that handcrafted
boots can provide. If they are new to you, you have
to try them to understand how truly great they feel.
The boots are cut generously in size. They allow
comfortable room for your arches. Until they
break-in, they will slip on your heels.
Please call for more information on
any Justin boot, ( even if it not shown), that you may be
interested in. If Cultured Cowboy or Justin has the
boots in stock, then great, they will ship out right
away! If the boots you want are not in stock
and have to be made, you can
expect to receive your boots 2-6 weeks from your
order date. Please remember that we keep many boots
in stock, as does Justin, so don't hesitate to
call and order your boots!
