CULTURED COWBOY PRESENTS

Easy Bits

An exciting new shank makes an Easy Bit a very nice colt bit for first introducing curb pressure, and low leverage. However, this bit has become popular with the many segments of the horse industry.  Cutters, Team Penners, Trail Riders, Reiners, and Barrel Racers have found this bit a good choice for horses with good mouths that don't need an excessive amount of control.

If I have a horse that needs some "firm", it does not want to stop, I need to better distribute pressure over poll and curb, I like Argentine snaffle bits. As an alternative, these "Easy Bits" are short shanked, with loose mouthpieces which work well with a loose curb. And, the side is enough that a horse which likes to grab the side of a ring snaffle will have a hard time "eating" his bit. -  Chuck        We have mixed some other popular short shank bits like the Tom Thumb on this page too.

Easy Five Small Chain Mouth Bit
Very nice colt bit for introducing curb pressure and low leverage. Cutters, Team Penners, Trail Riders, Reiners, and Barrel Racers have used this bit on horses with good mouths that don't need excessive control. Small chain mouthpiece is one of the least severe. Works on the corners of the lips and conforms well to the mouth for a slight amount of tongue pressure. Most problem horses will pack this mouthpiece very well.
5" Cheeks

Special Order Only

Solid Colt 5/8" Sweet Iron Mullen Port Bit
Colts that have a lot of natural flex can use this bit to learn curb pressure and help collect themselves without over-flexing.
5" Cheeks, 5" Mouth

Easy Five 3-Piece With Copper Roller Bit
The 3-piece snaffle is a very nice mouth. It has more control than a 2-piece snaffle, adds some tongue pressure to help set your horse's head, and helps as a pacifier for nervous horses.
