This Western Dee bit is a great choice when you
want a direct pull designed to give more direct signal
than a loose ring snaffle. The Dee ring applies pressure to a horse's lip on the opposite side of the
face from the rein you pull, allowing for better flexion.
The sweet iron, smooth mouthpiece naturally rusts to a light patina. The
rust creates a sweet taste to the horse's mouth, making
the bit more acceptable and increasing salivation for a

3/8" Smooth Stainless Double Five Snaffle Bit
This bit encourages relaxation of the jaw
because of the limited likelihood that the mouthpiece will
break down into the tongue or up into the palate. The
Double Five copper inlay will increase salivation.
Designed for the well trained horse to carry all day. The
headstall ring aligns the mouthpiece at a pleasing angle
in the horse's mouth and prevents downward rotation of the
mouthpiece when rein pressure is applied. Comparable to
the English Kimberwicke bit, without the available
