Didja Know? Driving shoes were invented because early drivers needed something flexible that could easily go from clutch petal to brake petal, along with the accelerator petal, without slipping all over the place, causing a wreck. A patent was made on a bottom that had a lot of holes where a lot of knobs stuck through the leather for grip.  Turns out the silly things kinda massage your feet as you wear them.
