Here' a great deal!  A good friend and schoolmate purchased this saddle new. 
He sold it to another friend as his health and activity slowed with an accident's results.  The second friend
opened a furniture business and got too busy to ride. This saddle has been in her home for a few years. 
You can see the great shape this Ortho Flex Saddle has maintained. Only flaw is at the very front of the horn cap, where the saddle 
was dropped up and down by a rope pulley system that allowed my classmate to mount his horse in this saddle.
Guess you can can guess this particular saddle has a lot of sentiment in it's history.

Here is one of the best saddle values in America.  Not an economy saddle! One of the best made. Sturdier than many saddles built today. 
Color is rich. An oiled light oil. This saddle was kept in a controlled temperature & humidity environment when not used on a horse.  We believe this to be an excellent choice for your Christmas, 4th July, town festival & Rodeo parades.  

An arena equitation tree saddle, but built for trails. Seat is comfortable. Leggings are well softened with time. Stirrup leathers in great shape. Stirrups are original. Fits an average sized to tall rider in inseam. 

Very good saddle for older adult riding lessons, clean trail rides, pasture discoveries, or to upsell your very nice horse.

Seat size of 17 is well padded, almost 16.5 measurement. No breakdown of the seat cushion. Designed to fit 80% of quarter type Western horses. Seat of quality leather. If you look sharply, you can see a slight wear on the front of the horn cap. Not torn loose.  

Give us your true inseam measurements and we can double check the saddle stirrup lengths are fitted for you. 

If you have a riding school, horseback riding vacation station, or hack horses, this model could be perfect for the rider who wants special treatment &will pay a little extra for that special gift! 

The skirting leather is substantial to support your sport. There is no loose wear in the girth ring area.

Observations:  You can see there are no "folds" in any of the leather.   We do not often get in a saddle this clean. Fleece is in excellent condition. No wear holes or thinning. The shifting of colors looks good. If you want the lighter places darker, just rub in more olive oil. Stirrup leathers are as original - no cutting down, nor ugly holes punched. Holes are numbered for your convenience. Looks to be the Original girth leather & Off billet. Stirrup pad shows almost no wear.   Your saddle is ready to ride! 

Top Grain seat is in great shape. Padding has no decomposition. Seat Leather has no tears.  Rigging is as new. 


    
  Girth plates are dropped low for closer contact to your horse. 
Fenders move easily over the dropped leather plate support - easy to maneuver your legs. 
Leather Girth Tie Strap & Off Billet. Price includes the original optional flank set.

If you look hard, you'll see just a small wear on the front edge of the horn cap. As long as you don't drop this saddle on the horn over and over again, it'll be fine.
