Ostrich Boots
feel like a sock with a sole. The large quill marks
are from the quill feathers removed for wedding
pens, hat plumes, and such. Because of the size of
the remaining pore, these boots are extremely
breathable. (And therefore, comfortable for sweaty
feet.) The skins are soft and conform to your foot
like a sock does. Again, expect a little slippage in
the heel when you wear them. And, a nice handshake
in the front of the boot. This will let you know
that the boot will break in properly, and be most
comfortable. The slipping allows air to pump around
your foot while moving, and keeps air circulating
better than any lace-up style.

Crepe
soles, or leather soles; more choice for
you! Leather soles are traditional, more
supportive, easy to dance, and
easily form fit to your foot's bottom. The
new crepe soles are a little more slip
resistant, a little softer, last a little longer, but larger
in profile. |

without such distinctive texture. Smaller pores have
