WESTERN
BOLO TIES
When
you want to look dressy, but don't want to quite
button that top collar button, Here's your best
solution. Cowboy bolo ties have been "white
man" popular since at least the 1920's. And I
hear arguments that the American Indians wore them
for centuries. Doesn't
matter the nationality, or the ethnicity, smart
people everywhere understand good looks and comfort.
Sometimes referred to as bolla ties, string ties,
Nashville ties, ..., the adornment slides up and
down the string to adjust height and for best neck
size. Strings on adult bolos are usually about 26
inches. Small children's are about 24 inches. Tips
are usually glued on really well. Some silver tips
also bind into the string with top prongs. The
more expensive bolo ties will have more elaborate
clip type slide adjustment mechanisms. The lesser
priced ones use a pressure clip that tension can be
adjusted with your fingernails. Both ladies and
gentlemen proudly wear bolo ties. Hey
