There is something about wrapping these coats around you, that make you feel proud! As the USA was growing in the 1800's, each part of our nation used these styles for practical and aesthetic values. From raincoats, (dusters), made from the torn sails of merchant ships, to the woolen frocks of bankers and politicians, these are the coats that continue to make our nation great, in all sorts of weather!

For a more fitted look, order your chest size, (or belly if larger than chest, at belly button). To have room for a layered look, go one size larger. More than a few of our friends have 2 sizes. One for the coldest weather, worn with plenty underneath, and another for normal days. These Western frock coats and cowboy dusters make perfect choices for stage coaches, city coaches, carriage drivers, and outdoor events. 

Tails split to make horseback riding convenient. Cleaning is not as hard as it seems, especially with the rifle frock coat. dust can be brushed off with a soft bristle brush, dusters can be blown with an air tank blower. If ya wanna keep 'em new lookin', use woolite to spot clean wools and follow wash instructions. Often, a damp cloth will suffice. Fabreeze is great for odors.  Canvas and most other fabrics can be Scotch Guard protected to make cleaning easier.   

And, yes, the rifle frock is long enough to stow away a rifle!
