If you
want a ride that is miles beyond what was out there 10 years ago, this
high tech trail saddle series is your saddle. Big Horn
Saddles offer an exclusive tree from Steele that allows proper flex from
front to rear and from side to side. These movements are
especially important with the rigors of trail riding. Place your weight more over the
front end, or more to the horse's center as you feel that you need, for a
particular landscape. Deep conditions, winding downhills, position of the
run, etc., ...a flex tree does make a difference.
1692
and 1693 give you the Equi-Flex tree developed for BigHorn. 1690
and 1691 offer the new Evolution Tree. Cultured Cowboy has seen
much success from both flex systems.
The
flexible tree allows easier movement for the horse while making those
sharp bends going around curves, as well as up and down hills.
Place less pressures on the kidneys, shoulders, and on your saddle
block! 1692 and 1693 are made on Full QH Bars to allow as much padding
as needed to mate up with most of your horses. 1690 and 1691
are on the new 6 3/4 inch gullet - just a little wider than
medium.
The
Double Comfort seat system and all those tie-on rings come in
really handy on a long ride! If you have ever experienced a lower
back injury, or you ever had your legs go numb, this special foam
is your trick to riding normally again. The Evolution system
omits the Double Comfort seat for more ground seat feel.

Equi-Fit
Flexible bars work like the arch support
of a shoe; they provide the correct fit
while the flexibility allows
unrestricted movement and bends away
from pressure. If you are choosing
a flexible tree, make sure the
flexibility improves a quality fit and
does not merely make a crude fit

Comfort padded seat. Seat padding is made of
Visco-Elastic memory foam, originally developed
by NASA. This foam conforms to the body
(redistributing body weight and reducing skin
pressures by 50%), which greatly improves
circulation, reduces spinal pressure, and
provides more comfort on long rides. |

The
Equi-Fit Evolution (Evo) saddle tree
incorporates the precise contours necessary to
minimize pressure points and maximize load
bearing area on the back type for which it was
designed, giving you a more stable saddle that
stays in position better.
Evo
styles mirror Steele's traditional Equi-Flex
fits. Every fit has been developed and tested
over thousands of hours of actual riding. Evo
takes saddle fit a step further with flowing
flexibility. When placed on your horses back,
the Evo foundation - bars and groundseat moulded
together in one piece - slowly gives to
pressure, allowing the saddle to settle and
conform to an uneven back while the rigid fork
and cantle maintain bar angle and spread.
