Maize colored synthetic sheepskin bottoms allow airflow and moisture balance through your pad. The Maize bottom is a long lasting woven fabric blown through with the best possible synthetic pile. The pile used is not a "slick" cheap acrylic. (The cheap acrylics pads cost a lot less, but they are as slick as glass once wet with sweat. And, to reduce the costs more, cheap pads use a pressed "who knows what" mixed fiber, bacteria breeding, type padding within the fabrics - also not the best. But they're Cheap, until your horse has a skin problem, or you add the costs of replacing them so often!) This better Reinsman construction allows your pad to dry faster than a solid type of bottom. Ordering your Reinsman Fabric Covered Saddle Pad is Simple.  Pick your style, and color.  The item numbers are based on the following system:  23641 = (236=style, 41=color).  Combine the style number with the color number.  The style 236 + color 41 = 23641 a square pad in color 41 with a maize bottom.  

Ordering your Tacky Too bottom is as easy. After the item number and color number, add"T"  ex: Item # 23641T  will replace the fleece bottom with TackyToo.

Pad Top Color Options: This grouping of Western saddle pad colors are made from the best Microfiber fabrics; solids that are made to breathe; made to last. This Microfiber looks like suede but has more technical substance. Microfiber is more weather resistant than suede; more comfortable to your horse. Good pick and wear resistance.

CONTOURED SWAYBACK SADDLE PADS - Just because your horse is getting a little age does not mean it should be uncomfortable. Just like us riders, the elder we get, the more we like out creature comforts. 

Your horse does not need to be swaybacked for this pad to help. Anytime there is a sharp drop behind the withers, this pad might be beneficial. I was just recommending to another client, that they pinpoint the exact area of injury, cut a hole in the shim pad to allow relief on the area of injury. By cutting with an angle from the border of your hole to coming back to the shim height, you form a gradual slope that gives opening and protection an easy transition. Each horse's conformation is unique and should be evaluated in relation to the fit of your padding and the saddle used. Here are some starting recommendations for starters. Just adjust as you need! 

Swayback    Does your horse have a sway back causing bridging with your saddle? Try shim pockets 2 & 3 to fill the void.	Hollows    Does your horse have hollow spots behind the wither/shoulder blade area? Try shim pocket 1.
Swayback & Hollow   Does your horse have hollows behind the shoulder and a swayback? Try shim pockets 1 2 & 3.	Downhill Build   Is your horse built downhill, with the croup higher than the withersw?  Try pocket 1 and maybe 2 to raise the front of the saddle.
Asymmetry    Does your horse have asymmetry, being bigger on one side than the other? Use the pocket(s) on the smaller side to even out the horse's build.	Weak Topline or Prominent Spine   Does your horse have a weak topline or prominent spine, and needs additional padding the entire length of the back? Use pockets 1 2 3 & 4.

SHOULDER FILL CORRECTION PAD     Does this variety not give you the widest varieties of possibilities for continued comfort in riding through the many life stages of your horse! MAXIMUM PRESSURE RELIEF PAD    This is the M.P.R.Pad. Designed to contour and cushion while maintaining support, Reinsman's MPR Pad is the pad of choice for the broad shouldered horse. A viscoelastic hex cell molds to the shape of the horse to allow movement of the shoulder. It reduces pressure points caused by the bars of the saddle. 100% Wool Saddle Pads
These pads have been "old faithfuls" for a number of years. All the properties of sweat and shock absorption, wicking, self conforming, etc., in simple shapes that work on most all horse/saddle combinations. I like these as filler pads when I am working more narrow horses, or working longer hours to prevent sore spots. This is a wonderful pad to choose when you need to double up. Put these on bottom.
