If you
want the most comfort and utility for your money, this is a flex
tree trail saddle for you. Big Horn
Saddles offers an exclusive tree from Steele that allows flex from
front to rear and from side to side. These movements are
especially important with the rigors of trail riding. Place your weight more over the
front end, or more to the horse's center as you feel that you need, for a
particular landscape. Deep conditions, winding downhills, position of the
run, etc., ...a flex tree does make a difference.
The
flexible tree allows easier movement for the horse while making those
sharp bends going around curves, as well as up and down hills.
Place less pressures on the kidneys, shoulders, and on your saddle
block! 1655, 1656, 1658 are made on Full QH Bars to allow as much padding
as needed to mate up with your horse. 1696 is on the new 7
1/2 inch gullet - even wider than full QH. (Funny, how I had a few
people wanting more of these really wide widths. Next thing I
know, Big Horn is making more wide gullet saddles. Maybe this is a
National Phenomenon!)
The
Double Comfort seat system and all those tie-on rings come in
really handy on a long ride! If you have ever experienced a lower
back injury, or you ever had your legs go numb, this special foam
is your trick to riding normally again.

in-skirt front ring still allows you to get next
to your horse. This saddle flexes just like the
