CULTURED COWBOY PRESENTS

   Dakota Reining Saddles

When you need a saddle to allow freedom of movement, here we go!. When you need a saddle to "dance" with your equine partner, here we go! From spins to sliding stops, if we are allowed to build this saddle right for you, You cannot beat Dakota quality for the money.

Here is a saddle made for more movement with your horse. It starts with this flex tree. Might make you need to improve your balance which might not be so bad either! The front is rigid, enough so it will not spread and bottom out on your horse withers. Then the rear of the saddle has great movement as your horse bends, turns and slides. The design can even some of the pressures over more of the horse back, rather than digging in at spots. Truth is, with the best of the handmade hardwood reiners, designers want the tree to move with the horse some. Years ago, when they designed an made most of their trees, TexTan used to brag about the flex in the bars of their better wood tree saddles. With many wooden trees today, they just do not move.

Deep skirts for hanging onto the horse; but cut away under the leggings, so you can keep your leg position where it needs to be. This is a good reining saddle model to have two of: one for the barn, and one a little more "showy" for the competitions. Choose smooth or rough side out on the jockeys and fenders. Shown with conchos and rear dees, but saddle strings strung through the tree are available if you prefer. Complete with front breast collar dees. Cultured Cowboy has arranged with Dakota to opt for heavy duty synthetic, or real sheepskin fleece on the bottoms. Comes standard with Montana Silver. Shown Light Oil, choose your color of leather, and of seat. Top grain padded seats are available as well as the suede. Give us your true inseam measurements and we can have the saddle stirrup lengths fitted for you. We can condition the saddle turning stirrups for you too. This is especially handy for all cowboys and cowgirls who wish to ride in a new saddle that feels right, right from the start, and just gets better with time! Your choice of QH or Full QH bars. Shown with basket weaving, choose your favorite tooling pattern. I have a friend who is a pretty good rider, but in this type saddle, he excels. Maybe this is just what you need to be able to show your true horseback riding, or reining horse, skills.

Really, with all the many options available, these saddles are hard to price without a conversation anyway.  One of these options is the teardrop fender shown for easy fit and flex at your lower leg.  Thanks, Chuck
