If you like silver, the Dakota 604 equitation is a real pleasure to your eyes! Extra handtooled sized skirts make this saddle fit for a kingdom. Great for parades, shows or plantations. What is a pleasure saddle, anyway? It is a saddle you expect to feel comfortable when you are in that seat for long hours at a time. The material Dakota uses for padding our Cultured Cowboy saddles is a superior grade of high tech material that will not compress, nor deteriorate in short time. Still, even with the quality features of this equitation saddle,the price is affordable. The standard tree in this saddle is Quarterhorse bars with a medium height cantle, but you can order a higher cantle if you would like. (Regular or Full QH bars available.) Also available with a Flex tree. Flex saddles have more give to them. They fit to the horse as the girth is tightened. The flex saddles give more as the horse makes its movements. This can be especially advantageous for young, or aged horses. Flex trees are not going to allow too much weight in the center of the horses' back. Weight is distributed over a large area. Years from now, you will enjoy the same comfort as when this saddle was new. You can be proud to ride this equitation saddle in the show ring or in your pastures. Either place, if comfort is a priority, this saddle is for you. This one is shown with a full basket handtooled print, Montana Silver, and rust suede seat. And you can choose from floral, basket, or oak leaf designs. The pelican wrapped horn is a favorite in equitation circles. Choose your seat color between shades of suede, top grain, or exotic seats. We can offer the latest in ostrich print seats, full quill ostrich, caiman alligator, or bright leathers. At first, we may wonder why anyone would want an exotic seat; but after having seen several in action, perhaps it is the excitement of "new", but riders do well in them! AJ Garafolio says a full quill ostrich seat will hold you just right. Comes standard with rear dees for adding a pair of strings as needed. Also available are the silver tipped leathers under the conchos. Breast collar dees are standard. We recommend thinking about one of our better fleece options: thicker synthetic, or real sheepskin. Let us know your inseam and we will be sure that the stirrups will fit properly. Plenty of room in the thigh area. Comes standard with nylon girth tie straps for a fit that gets closer to your horse.
