Dakota
Saddles
A
barrel racing saddle with lots of grip! This padded combination of
seat and jockeys are a favorite for beginners, trail riders and
older riders. The model 401 saddle has popular rawhide trim on the
horn stirrups and cantle. Shown with a spot tooled oak leaf
pattern. For those who prefer the traditional, this saddle
comes standard built on a semi-quarterhorse frame. If your horse requires
it, it can be built on a full quarterhorse tree. The skirts are round designed to give a horse lots of
freedom. In-skirt rigging lays close to the horse, so does your
leg. Stirrup leathers are designed to give you much freedom of
movement when needed. Still, the swept back forks will help hold
you in place when needed. PLEASE, call us with your true
inseam...not necessarily your jean
size! This way, the legging system can be built to fit your needs.
There is nothing worse than having to cut down the fenders and
jockey after you get your saddle. Let us get it right for you at
the start. Conchos with dees allow you to put those strings on for
the trail ride, and take 'em off for the pole bending. Ladies
usually like the feel of this deep seat on long rides. This is a
good pick, especially
for youth saddles or kids saddles. The 401 comes standard with
Nylon girth tie straps for closer contact.
