Dakota Saddles

What is a pleasure saddle, anyway? It is a saddle you expect to feel comfortable when you are in that seat for long hours at a time. The material Dakota uses for padding our Cultured Cowboy saddles is not cheap carpet foam like many of the other "value priced" saddles out there. It is a superior grade that will not compress nor deteriorate in short time. Flex tree saddles have more give to them. They fit to the horse as the girth is tightened. The flex saddles give more as the horse makes its movements. This can be especially advantageous for young, or aged horses. Flex trees are not going to allow too much weight in the center of the horses' back. Weight is distributed over a large area. Years from now, you will enjoy the same comfort as when the saddle was new. This one is shown with a simple spot basket print, (just enough tooling to keep the leather from curling), Montana conchos, and rust suede seat. Flip those jockeys and fenders rough side out for more security, or leave them smooth, as shown, for easier cleaning. The leather covered horn is there, but not so tall as to get in the way. That 5 inch cantle will help hold you in the seat on steep grades. Add a laced Cheyenne roll if you like. Comes with rear dees under the conchos, but you can easily add two more at the front conchos. Want some breast collar dees?  We recommend thinking about one of our better fleece options: thicker synthetic, or real sheepskin. Let us know your inseam and we will be sure that the stirrups will fit. Plenty of room in the thigh area. Comes standard with nylon girth tie straps for a fit that gets closer to your horse.
