Our

working through our saddle makers. Below are some very detailed
pictures for those of you who really like to see the finer points
of what to expect in a customized Dakota Saddle from Cultured
Cowboy.
Here
is another great example of a 213 saddle as made especially the
way you need it for your riding experiences. This saddle has
full QH bars and a 17" seat made with NASA foam; Chocolate
brown seat top with center fire rigging.
Dakota
213 Trail Saddles
Here
we have a 17 inch seat with that comfy NASA foam
inserted as your seat, so that it contours to your
buttocks. Just 10 minutes & it settles in to your
body shape! Especially great if you ever had lower back issues or a
coccyx bone problem.
The
rigging is set for center fire options so that you can
best fit a few horses, adjusting the girth position
for each horse perfectly!
Real
sheepskin bottom holds the saddle next to the pad
without unnecessary movement, yet still has thousands
of air pockets for best protection of the horse back.
And all these air pockets also add to rider
comfort.
You
can give us your true inseam measurements and we can have the
saddle fitted for your best comfort. This is especially handy for youth, ladies,
or tall cowboys! (Measure from your crotch to the ground while
barefooted, with feet about shoulder length apart. if
this is 30 inches, we will actually have the stirrups
ready to set at 28 inches, so you can sit with
pressure comfortably in your stirrups. Yes, the
leathers will still adjust with the other
holes.)

Every
part of this saddle is made for you to enjoy your
ride.
From having lots of places to hold other gear,
to easy moving fenders and stirrup leathers. And it
has been carefully conditioned with PH balanced Lexol
and Hand rubbed with Extra Virgin Olive oil to bring
out the depth and luster. A final protective finish of
saddle lacquer gives further protection and helps hold
the moisture balance for you, and brings together the
blending of the individual colors which better
leathers are known for.

Here
we upgraded the nylon girth tie straps to
BigHorn’s best nylon “latigos”. They hold
in place without slipping and last a long time,
and are soft against either leg or horse.
(Nylon, not polypropylene) The secret is
in the “little lines that grip” weave of the
strap.
With a double wrap, they bind in place.
Just a simple tug backwards from ground
position and they loosen as needed. These
girth straps are great for a center fire
rigging, and if you need a refresher on how to
tie one, check out our YouTube
video on it here.
