Saddles
Ah,
yes, the old A Fork roping saddle. Shown with
a very popular hard seat. Because you have more of
your body in an upright position, and the weight is distributed
over the entire saddle block area, this is really a great saddle
for long times in the saddle. Choose
smooth or rough side out on the fenders and seat. This 209AF is
shown with rawhide trim on the standing roll. The
pommel is narrow for more room in the thigh area. It allows easier
"looking back". You can get an optional set of bucking
rolls to give more of something to hug into if needed, when
needed. Deep roper stirrups with a wide tread make for less strain
on your legs. Shown with a basket stamp, you can choose any
tooling pattern. Add some front breast collar dees for double tug
breast collars, a roping pommel dee
and strap, extra heavy fleece or felt on the skirts, a hoofpick holder, or any of the
other options. Choose your color of leather. If you are interested, you
can give us your true inseam measurements and we can have the
saddle fitted for you. This is especially handy for youth, ladies,
or tall cowboys! You can get six saddle strings or four, as shown.
Choose between full or regular Quarterhorse bars. The 209AF comes
with conventional skirts and a reinforced flank billet.
