Please note that when making price comparisons, production chaps are lower in cost due to the quality of leather, quantity pricing in assorted colors, and the fact that several are produced at the same time in a production line manner. Custom chaps are made to order, one at a time. Because better chap makers have their names on the line, when they are taking more time to hand cut each piece to fit your body, they will use better hardware, and better leathers. We sell several different brands, (So you can have a lot of variety, and choose wisely.), and when you see variations in cost, it is usually due to differences in the materials and labor used. We don't want you to have to go to several different places to find what you are looking for. We carry it all, except for the cheapest of junk - we refuse to carry that.
