There are
some boots that should never be discontinued. This rodeo
tough Bullhide Lacer is one of them. It is still
available to you, only (so far as we know), from Cultured Cowboy,
as a special makeup boot.
Justin has now taken it out of their line permanently. Even so, for
fans of Bullhide, this is a hard deal to beat.
Bullhide is
durable and easy to hide scratches. The heavy grain
makes the boot actually break in soft, once it adjusts
to your feet. Keep a good Mink Oil or black boot cream
on it and enjoy! Easy for most boot repair shops to
resole.
NEW NOTE
!!!
Cultured Cowboy is your dealership,
offering as many handcrafted & handmade boots as
we can. If you are looking for a Justin
style that you can't find, just call or email. We'll
be glad to do our best to get something similar for you at a very fair price.
R.Watson Boot Co, Hondo boots, Fenoglio Boot,
Twisted X, and our custom maker Jose have similar
alternatives.
Please call for
any more information on
any Justin boot or fit. We've been selling them
since 1983. There are some helpful links below that
will give you good general boot information
too.
Justin tried
to keep costs down by changing the 545 lacer to the 555
lacer. It didn't work well. Soon discontinued. Few
people wanted a second pair. (We all try things that
don't work as planned, don't we!) Ya'll wanted a
better boot.
R Watson
Boot Company is now making us their prototypes of the
old 545 (leather sole), 514 (rubber sole), and 522 Black
Bullhide leather sole) styled lacer boots for
Cultured Cowboy. All of us are working hard
on pricing that will keep the quality of the Justin
Originals without being $600.00. We hope these land
between $289.99 and $389.99.
First
samples are coming end of April 2022. - We hope You will
call or email us with your size & contact info, so
we can put you on a list, and have enough of your size
made for everyone, ASAP.
Once we get
these three going, we'll try to work on the basic black
and perhaps ladies sizing. Please be patient with us
