Wiring our Cultured Cowboy Disciple Cross program is used as therapy. Because doing it right is not so easy, it helps people feel accomplishment. It can focus you when you have a hard time with focus. If you tend toward compulsive, it also relaxes the compulsion with fun and humor. Art is used to allow people to bring out their best, by encouraging a sometimes not predominant side of the brain as more dominant. And, the funds raised from sales are used to support life coaching. And royalties for those we sell can help support the New Horizon youth ministry too.  

Allowing our assembly team to have freedom in artistic abilities, they have discovered a lot of designs available for you.  Solid Pink have been used for breast cancer awareness. High School and college colors are used for team spirit. Barn colors are popular. Mother's birth colors for their children, Black and red are colors in the UMC flame logo, and any other reason you have for your personalized horse shoe nail cross is fine with us.

Your Disciple Cross can be made into your choice of necklace, key ring, bracelet, or a silver plated lobster claw attachment for use as a zipper tab pull. Add on for your current necklace, school book bag decor, truck rearview window, or however you might imagine your handmade cross. Many are sold to hang on saddles, for a cause, and for declaration of your faith. 

We bend the nails. We wrap the wiring using the best colored art wire we can find. We then dip the cross in a clear floor covering type protective coating for you. Then we tie on the clasp or cord as you prefer. Sounds simple. Takes some practice. For most of our people, and from reading other websites, about 30 minutes to make a simple one. A little more time for the more complex. 

Each nailed cross is crafted with love and spirit. There can be slight variation just due to being hand crafted rather than a production model. We actually looked into machine benders, winders, and such. But, the therapeutic value of making them, and the very nature of American made craftsmanship far outweigh another cookie cutter product.

They are available in one color, two color, three color or even four or more color combinations. You may list your primary color and order of other colors as you like.

Basic colorations are $12.00 each.  If we add two colors to a same section, $15.00 each. If there is intricate twisting of colors and such, $20.00 to $25.00 each. Examples of several possible combinations are shown here.  And rest assured that your money will go to good cause. 

[Sidebar:  I finally, in my late 50's, decided what I want to do when I grow up! Yep, I've done a lot in life, and all the good & ugly, achievement & disappointment, have led me to look for help to properly help others. I had grown tired of making a mess while trying to help. The Christian cross made from horseshoe nails and from coloration that is special to the wearer, appeals to almost everyone. You can imagine the symbolism of Jesus on His cross, with the nails, some of the windings, some of the colors of red, white, or purple.

Disciple Cross Basic Pricing: 

As you can see, lots of colors are available in combinations of your choice.
Whether wrapping your vertical sections of nails with one or two colors (1 color top 1 color bottom), as long as the crossbar is a single color which might be the same as bottom, and/or top of the vertical, or a different color, the price will be $12.00 for your cross.

So, a solid single color wire selection, like those below. or two color cross with vertical and crossbar two colors like the two above on your right side = $12.00. Or if you use 1 color on the crossbar, and the same color or two colors on either one of the two vertical sections with the other vertical section in a different color = $12.00 (See Allen below) Or, if the crossbar is 1 color and the top vertical is a 2nd color, and the bottom vertical is a 3rd color = $12.00 (Three wires comprise our basic design cost: Top, bottom and crossbar.)

Each "cap" or color change in a section requires very careful coordination of the art wire. So add $3.00 per color cap and you'll be about right. 

 The Silverwhite art wire and some of the "brighter" colors are silver plated then color added. So if a design uses more than highlights of silver based wire, it costs more than the colors without the silver base. 

We give you this info, so you can have some understanding of how the pricing is based. The more artistic, the more proud you should be! And for many people, simple is best.

Tarnish resistant copper art wire is contrasted with the nickel color of horseshoe nails. The whole cross is dipped in Clear coat floor covering  for more protection against color change, rust, and the heavy clear coat binds the tips of wires so they will not pick your clothing as they would without the coating.
