jump off their horse without twisting an ankle, while running down their
rope to a calf that wants to get away. Rumor has it
that George Strait might have been one of the first
generation of ropers to use "ropers"
rather than their higher heeled traditional western
boots. Roper boots have been popular for dancing,
and for rodeo boots for at least 25 years. The
