Kirsten
Brown
Eyes, are you smiling again?
In heaven, will I see your beautiful grin?
I won’t hold you in ways we held on earth;
but, I’ll love you, touch you, enjoy your mirth.
Have you found your calling, sweet memory of mine?
Are you serving the Father, with angels, on high?
As
lady and gentleman, we parted sweet night
never to know it would be our last flight.
May you have found God to be your comfort
like I found you, in the midst of a moment.
Short whispers of life’s times shared between friends
sing recall of Kirsten, generosity without end.
