What we've found is that the consistency and quality of comfort is not just a "squishy" soft feel in the store. How are the heel counters made? Sturdy! Why - the heel counter that you cannot see is what will determine whether your foot has a tendency to break over the outside of your heel. Once this happens, you not only lose support under your feet, they start to hurt.

Care Products:  Leather Balm will clean the pores of the leather. If saddle soap is used, it's especially important to recondition the leather soon afterward.  Distressed leather conditioner or a work boot oil will do the trick!  Can be wax or cream polished if you want. 
Cultured Cowboy recommends use of an old toothbrush, or our applicator brushes. Extra Virgin olive oil can be used as an alternative conditioner, but they will darken your leather to deeper color.  Leather needs moisturizers just like a ladies hands do.

Water Resistance - Sno-Seal or Mink Oil to weatherproof / protect the outer leather without lessening the wicking away properties of the footwear when used.  
Want to round out your boot comfort even more? - Try a pair of Thorlo socks with them.  Thorlo makes a variety of great work socks. Everything from ankle or low quarter athletic to over the calf. Thorlo Mid calf Western Boot socks, or just a little lower crew socks work well for protection.  Try 1 pr of Thorlos with your work boots for half price! - (Ya gotta request this with your order)
Extra thickness, almost like a terrycloth towel, in the heel area (Dissipation of concussion). Thickness under the ball of your feet (protection on your take off). And thins down on the top of your arches with a supportive structure so you don't need to change footwear sizes. (Assists your metatarsal bones).
