If you are familiar with better quality Western boots, you understand the value that handcrafted boots can provide. If they are new to you, you have to get through working in them to really understand how truly great they feel. Your friends will tell you to buy a handcrafted boot because they also hold up well. The boots are cut generously in size. They allow comfortable room for your arches. Until they break-in, they will slip on your heels. (In fact they are always going to slip a little, the design is different than a short quarter shoe, so the slipping will not rub blisters on your heels. See the next paragraph too.)

The leather sole system, with all sorts of foot fitting innards, provides a shock absorbing, arch supporting, surface for most casual and dress wearing conditions.

Although a "cowboy boot" is one of the first things you look for, when dressing for cowboy events, people that wear Western dress boots do not always wear them just to look like cowboys. The arch support and quality craftsmanship allow us to go all day without sore feet and aching backs or legs. As you walk, Western style boots pump air around your feet, which aids in dissipation of moisture, and even more comfort for you. This is why you do want some slippage on those heels!)

Proper foot care now, will pay tremendous dividends in all your years to come. Cheap made shoes create all sorts of problems years from now. And soft bottom tennis shoes, designed for active sports, were never made to wear all day.

Cowtown Exotic Boots As we continue to search out the whole world for the best values in Western boots, Cultured Cowboy will keep adding pages! Cowtown Boot Company is an older boot maker. It was the company that would sell us exotic boots before we were large enough, reputable, old enough, to open an account with major boot makers. (Early 1970's) Looking at their quality, it's a very nice fashion forward exotic boot for the money. Exotics are their specialty, yet they make good basic leather boots too. These boots are not using any endangered animals. Alligators & Ostriches are a farm grown food source in many parts of the world. Elephants come from sources that protect. Reasonably Priced Exotic Western Boots I wish Cultured Cowboy could market every boot from every company we like. Just not possible! The Cowtown boots shown here, we see as exceptional values. As we get all the "ducks" in a row, (engineering, planning, etc.), for our dream building of 20,000 sq ft - 2 stories, We'll have room for many more boots than our current 3800 pair. Exotic Boot Care:

Alligator boots need a reptile conditioner and delicate cream for conditioning. These products are designed to condition the scales and the membranes between the scales of the exotic skin. Then, use a matching cream polish to protect the boot from scuffs, or to cover existing scuffs.

Ostrich boots need a delicate cream for conditioning, and sometimes a de-salter to remove salt from the skin. ( If you see white lines after wearing, you need a de-salter.) These products are designed to recondition this exotic skin. Leather balm can be used to clean ostrich. Then, use a matching cream polish to protect the boot from scuffs, or to cover existing scuffs.

There may be several boot care products you are interested in. Just ask about what all you may enjoy...boot hooks, boot jacks, horsehair brushes to apply and polish, etc. We have it all for you. You see, we want these boots to last a good long time for you! Just a little care will make them go a lot farther. Be sure to wipe the dust and dirt off the skins with a soft cotton cloth each time you take them off after wearing. This keeps dust and dirt from cutting into the leathers.
