Cultured Cowboy Presents

Western Wedding Gowns - Pat Dahnke Colours

When your taste is for the "more than usual", Pat Dahnke comes across. Her award winning designs have graced the formal occasions of some of the most prominent women in America. We have, in our Greenwood location, commissioned customized gowns which combine leather and lace in charming fashion. She always comes across with absolute suitability.

Her designs are mostly made to order, as orders are received, and you can choose almost any color of the rainbow. To you, this means that any dress can be used for Mother of the Bride, Brides Maids, or Bride. Same dress, different flavors. Or ask about slight variations between the Bride's dress and Bridal Party dresses. Her whites are soft whites. Her champagne is really nice. And there are some ivory and off whites too. These dresses pick up on the fact that prior to Queen Elizabeth of England, Bridal dresses were of color - bright, or pastel; but always an elegant reflection of the cast of the wedding party.

Western favors, European charms, ...A mix of old and new, with love, from Cultured Cowboy to you!

And of course, White!

Please note that this 2-D chart represents the colors as accurately as possible. However, since they are computer generated, and our designs are hand dyed, the true color of various fabrics may vary slightly. It is hard to generate the depths of color that actually resonate from the various fabrics. Using the finest fabrics, each garment takes on a vibrancy of its own.

Please feel free to print this page for your color comparisons and let us know if you have any special requirements. Swatches you have found, to match your needs, may be mailed to: Cultured Cowboy, 3003 County Farm Rd, Greenwood, SC 29646. We will then try to dye match as best is possible. Or at least inform you that a close match is not possible.

Remember that it is always best to have all bridesmaids dresses done together. This gives the best assurance of color match. There are no guarantees that a later dress can be an "exact" match to the others done previously. Sometimes, we have to explain this to our friends, so they understand, how important it is to help you with your wedding.

(One of the nicest features of shopping online is finding how Cultured Cowboy can help you to personalize your dresses. There are always a few choices of accessories with each Pat Dahnke ensemble. Just call us to share more of the details.)

Sizing Chart

When deciding on size, if you are between sizes, remember it is always better to buy a larger size and have it taken in, than a smaller size and have the dress let out. It is important that we also have your true measurements to give the dressmakers. Your height, and length of back, whether you are high, mid or low bust positioned, shoulder to shoulder, and length of arm may also be needed. This helps them to determine which size is best, or if a customized size pattern needs to be made for your very special day.

Size Chart X-Small (XS) Small (S) Medium (M) Large (L) X-Large (XL)
Bust 34 36 38 41 44
Waist 24 26 28 32 36
Hips 35 37 39-1/2 42-1/2 45-1/2

Pat will do custom orders for a slight premium.  The XXL and the XXXL are considered custom.  We can provide you with a custom order form, upon request.  Please allow ten to twelve weeks for delivery of sizes not in stock. In stock sizes can be delivered in a week.  Laces and fabrics may vary slightly, according to availability.
