Many times we ask for pictures to help you with your ride. If you have them, we appreciate copies. They often help us to make recommendations for you. We are not the guys to call for quickest delivery of something that we bought on "special" to shove at you. Most every saddle we offer is available as a saddle made uniquely for your needs and wants. Working together, that is what life is supposed to be about.

Circle G Trail saddles and pleasure saddles are engineered to become some of the most comfortable Western saddles made. The cantles give lots of support on long rides. Just like proper arches in your boots, proper structure of your wooden, hide covered tree will allow best comfort for you and your horse. Yes, CNC machines now cut out the parts of wooden trees. This is so the many pieces line up properly. But go to a lumber yard and look at all the differences in woods. Your foundation is built upon select best woods.

We talk a lot about the benefits of flex trees on other parts of our website. And we believe that a flex tree can be much better than low priced wooden trees that are put in saddles under $1000.00. But, when made correctly, an experienced saddler, who is not bound by every nickel and dime, can still build the best from natural materials. 

Just like leather: Bellies are cheap. Sides cost a little more. Backs, and shoulders, that are the prime cuts, cost only when you buy them. The benefits of movement and "snap-back" well outweigh the leathers that stretch too much, or tear fiber rather than give. When you give a craftsman enough slack, he will make you the best. True artists give their all when they are given all they need.

Tooling is planned and carved for each position on your saddle, instead of looking like an afterthought. Rather than a die cut piece of leather with oversized leather conchos to cover the gaps, each piece of leather is hand fitted and properly molded for a tasteful and useful marriage between parts. Heavy oiling is available on each saddle.

Whether or not you have the experience of a professional, anybody can sit in one of these handmade pleasure saddles, and tell it was made to enjoy. The tree and the saddle make it easier to enjoy by placing emphasis on every part of your position. The ground seat and rise is proper to aid you in your riding, rather than restricting you. 

The standard tree in this saddle is Full Quarter Horse bars with a 4 inch height cantle. Adjustments can be made. 

Since leg position is important in the racing arena, we are going to ask you a few questions about your leg dimensions, sort of like fitting for chaps, so that length of leg as well as diameter of thigh are properly positioned. With seat sizes from 13 to 17 in half inch increments, fit can be exacting. 

Rigging is shown as a close contact dropped dee in-skirt. A slot reinforced with a silver plate provides placement of a rear flank. Ever heard of a 1 piece hardseat? We can do that too. One of the best saddles we ever designed was roughout hardseat close contact.
